If You’re Trying, You’re A Success
You don’t have to have reached your goal to be a “Success.” If you’re trying to improve and are working hard, you ARE, right now, a success!
It’s not the final destination that is important but the road that you are on. Â If you are trying and moving closer to where you want to be, you are being successful.
Tune out the voices that tell you the final result is all-important. Â Think of a drum corps season: Students work for almost an entire year, including weeks of intense rehearsals under all conditions, working toward the last performance of the year. Â Certainly that final run of the show is special, something they will never forget! Â But it’s the entire process of building and growing and learning that truly lasts. Â I guarantee, it’s the friends and the experiences along the way that will stick with those members. Â That’s what they will remember years later.
The journey of hard work and diligence really IS our activity, and if you’re participating, you’re a success! Â Keep trying, keep working, keep growing.
