I encourage you to embrace the getting ready part of life.

We live in wondrous times and are surrounded by interesting opportunities, but it's easy to fall into boredom. We need to TAKE ACTION!

For eons,  humankind has been gathering around the fire for warmth, safety, and community.  When we gather, each person has the chance to be vulnerable and see the humanity in others.

Due to the nature of my schedule, I have to remember how to do the work each year. Here are some things I've learned that I hope will be helpful.

What we focus on is what we become.  What we think about all the time we become.  So who do you want to be?

The act of standing in front of a beautiful work of art by a master is a life changing experience.

We all need another place to feel safe and happy.  Work and home are great, but having another special place is important.

The nice thing about getting older is you start to see the big picture of your life and the world around you

The turning of the calendar is an opportunity to take stock of your life, the past year, and where you are headed

No matter what we are involved with in life, we need training, and we need to make sure those around us have good training also
