My partner Steve and I attended "Spirit Fest" yesterday in St. Petersburg, a "holistic, metaphysical, and wellness expo." Â It was a heart-warming and inspiring experience.
It's easy to get discouraged these days, especially when dealing with news and social media. I often have to remind myself that there is kindness happening all around me, and I get to choose here I focus my attention.

One theme that has repeated itself over and over as I move has been the need for me to trust the professionals I have hired. Â I kept reminding myself that I connected with and hired these particular people because I thought they were great at what they do, and I enjoyed being with them.
We can't all get our fellow citizens to act rationally or safely, but we can make sure we are making smart choices in our own lives.
