One of the newest Pro Bodybuilders is the amazing Jason Huh.  This man’s arms are the size of many three year olds!  He is making a big splash on the bodybuilding scene, including an outstanding pro debut at the recent NY Pro Contest.

I recently ran across these two pictures on the web, showing his astounding progress.  The first picture is from USAMuscle.com and shows Jason at a contest in 2004.  The second picture is from Muscular Development and is a current picture as he prepared for his recent pro debut.  The physique in the first picture is an amazing accomplishment that is miles ahead of most anyone’s ability to achieve, but the physique in the second picture is simply a stunning and shockingly rare amount of size and musculature!

You may not be a huge bodybuilding fan, or understand the nuances of physique development and judging.  You may not even appreciate this level of development.  But anyone looking at these pictures cannot help but see a prime example of two very important things: Perseverance and Hard Work!  This kind of progress and muscular growth could only come from someone with an amazing passion for the sport, and with an incredible amount of discipline.  Jason Huh has obviously spent hour and hours working very hard in the gym, and it’s inspiring to see the results of his hard work which plainly show on his physique.

Many people aspire to do great things, but not everyone achieves their goals.  Often it’s the person who perseveres and just keeps working on and on toward their goal who finally gets there.  Life is rife with setbacks and hardships and obstacles, and the difference in success and failure is often the person who just keeps trying and doesn’t give up.

I wish all the best to Jason Huh, and thank him for the incredible inspiration he gives to me and many other lifters.  I may not achieve all my goals in the gym, but I benefit greatly from the effort and perseverance.  When things get rough, or I get tired, I will keep the amazing guns of Mr. Huh in mind and just keep going.  Now I’m off to the gym to work on my arms!
