Michael Gaines is one of the marching activity’s most successful and creative visual designers. His work with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps earned him fans and awards as he created innovative drill design that changed the activity and won 7 Drum Corps International World Championship titles. Michael has also been profoundly important in the winter activities, including his work with Pride of Cincinnati, Aimachi, and Escapade. Michael shares behind the scenes stories from his work, shares advice for young designers, and talks about design concepts that anyone can use in their work.
