One of our more important jobs is to make sure that everyone on the team has what they need at all times.
One theme that has repeated itself over and over as I move has been the need for me to trust the professionals I have hired. Â I kept reminding myself that I connected with and hired these particular people because I thought they were great at what they do, and I enjoyed being with them.
We can't all get our fellow citizens to act rationally or safely, but we can make sure we are making smart choices in our own lives.
After three years away from drum corps, I was happy to attend the Drum Corps International World Championships last week in Indy. It was DCI's 50th Anniversary and it was certainly a thrill.

Many people love ghost stories, scary movies, and tales of the paranormal. Â It can be fun to be scared, and fun to imagine that a spirit is watching us as we tour an old mansion. Â And most everyone loves Halloween!
