Darcie Aungst, Adam Sage, and Drew Shanefield discuss the show concepts of "Behold," including the use of props, innovative guard equipment, and music choices.  Rather than telling a story,  they hope the show's message will be interpreted in a way that is personal to our own lives and experiences.

The Cadets: Using Virtual Classrooms And Assignments

Four members of The Cadets staff share what they do during the winter season to set their members up for a successful season.  Educating brass musicians from remote and distant locations, they explain how they use technology to post assignments, share videos, offer individual lessons, and offer examples of self and peer assessment.

The Cadets “Unity Project”

Drew Shanefield, the artistic director and brass designer for The Cadets, talks about this year's show and the special challenges the corps faced this season.  Topics include how the show "feels like the Cadets," the costume, the show concept, changes made just before the season, the use of the singers in a new way, and how the props are used as part of the show concept.
