ONLY focusing on your job could actually make you worse at your job.  Daniel Morrison of Happy Not Satisfied is joined by Michael Martin to discuss the fact  that specializing too intensely and too early in one’s life can be detrimental.   Daniel says “I find it really fascinating that Mike is in one of the most specialized fields possible (trumpet player in the Boston Symphony) and yet is involved in so much more. He’s a marching band and drum corps arranger, avid crossfitter, competitive amateur golfer, and I’m sure more.”  Find a better balance and greater joy by considering this concept with two highly successful professionals in our activity.
