Exotic and yet familiar, this strongly themed music describes the Culture, Beauty, and Strength of Babylon, allowing for easy visual theming. The show of original music opens with a dramatic flute solo (playable by many instruments also) which builds to the statement of the main theme of the show. The opener features classic middle-eastern sounding music which describes the excitement and energy of the Babylonian culture. The music is very playable by young students and small bands, utilizing carefully planned solos to add technical brilliance to the book. The ballad features the return of the flute soloist, again playable by other instruments if needed, and represents the beauty of the famous Gardens of Babylon. The closing music portrays the famous Ishtar Gate and the strength of the culture and people of Babylon. This original marching band show can help your students sound their best ever!
