LCL Mentors from Leaders Creating Leaders Marching Arts Education

LCL Mentors is generously providing mentoring sessions to upcoming music education graduates. Your student’s LCL Mentor will help them prepare for to interview and get the job, set up their new position, and begin their first year of teaching, with valuable advice to help them be more successful.

Nominations can only be made by music education professors at a college or university, limited to one student per school per year.  A limited number of scholarships are available, each consisting of three sessions at no cost with one or more of our Mentors.  The nomination form below is to be completed by the professor, not the student.

There are a limited number of mentor scholarships available each year.  Not everyone that is recommended will receive a scholarship.   Those awarded the mentor scholarships must use the three mentor sessions in the same calendar year, but can decide when they feel they can benefit the most from these sessions.
