WINTER 2022: Episode 10 – April 27, 2022
We wrap up the WGI Percussion season by talking with three performers and an instructor about their experience in Dayton last weekend!! Stephen McCarrick of Rhythm X, Zach Martins of Infinity Percussion,, and Laura Sachaczenski of United Percussion share stories of their performances, plus other groups and moments they loved. And Grantis Peranda talks about WINDS and his experience as an instructor of a winds group.

WINTER 2022: Episode 6 – March 24, 2022
On this episode we talk with Andre’ Williams, choreographer and guard director, sharing clips from some shows and talking about his philosophy of movement and dance in winter guard.  Andre’ is the founder and Artistic Director of Relevations Dance, Artistic Director of Elevate IW Guard, plus on the staff at Phantom Regiment, Fishers Independent World, and Mt. Vernon HS.  Paul Simondac talks with Andre’ about this part of the season, plus we visit with Cindy Barry (Leandermomma) about some guard shows everyone is buzzing about.

On this episode we compare and contrast the worlds of percussion and color guard!  What’s the hardest thing about each area of WGI, and what does one think about the other?  Panelists include: Jonathan Moore (center snare of Music City Mystique), Christopher Rutt (adjudicator and announcer on West Coast), Kris Harris (Captain of Paramount Winter Guard) and Kirby Kistler (of Black Watch and United Percussion.). We also look at some clips of percussion shows that everyone is buzzing about.
