This original arrangement combines classic New Orleans tunes like “When the Saints” and “Down by the Riverside” with “Amazing Grace” and original music, all tied together using the gorgeous “Pavane” by Faure.  We first “set the scene,” then explore the danger of the dark corners of the city, look for salvation during the ballad, and end with a celebration of the city.  Written for a very small band, this show is very playable, has a lot of character, and is full of visual possibilities and audience appeal.
